Next Season

Pre season training

Begins again weekly from Monday 7th Sept - 8th October at Massey indoor nets.

The plan nearer the time will be to split the group into two blocks, 5 to 6.30pm and 6.30 to 8pm.

Sri Lanka - July 2027

Exciting news team - we’re taking a TDCC Senior Women’s Team to Sri Lanka in July 2027 and the opportunity is open to any current club players (& families) within our TDCC Senior Squad.

For those who’ve been around the club a while, you’ll know our Director of Cricket, Amita Weerakoon, who regularly runs these Sri Lanka tours. Several Taka girls have been on past trips, and I was lucky enough to go in 2025, which made me super keen to ensure we could take a Takapuna Senior Women’s team next time.

Amita will be doing a presentation on the tour after training next Monday 16 Feb, 7.30–8.30pm.

The information will also be sent via email, along with an Expression of Interest form following the 16th.  We’re ideally looking to take a squad of 14–15 players, and this is being shared early so there’s plenty of time for those who want to fundraise to help support themselves financially.

Come along next Monday (not tonight) to learn more, parents welcome to join the preso and tour too.
