Welcome to the TDCC Female Cricket Hub
This is your one-stop space for everything related to female cricket at TDCC. This hub serves as a central space for all communication and information related to our female cricket programme.
As a busy mum and volunteer, I know how easy it is for important info to get lost. That’s why I created this hub: to make staying updated simple, accessible, and tailored to the needs of our female cricket community.
Now entering my fourth season as TDCC Women’s Chair, I’m passionate about growing our female programme and supporting our players—on and off the pitch. While time and resources are always a challenge, our commitment to progress remains strong.
Of course, I’m not doing this alone. I’m supported by a fantastic executive committee who share the vision of building a strong future for female cricket at TDCC. Key members of our leadership team include:
Mike McCarthy, Kookaburra Cup Chair – leading the U11 Girls space
Naween Premadasa, Junior Chair (Boys & Girls) – supporting the U13 and U16 Girls, working alongside me to align efforts and ensure the best opportunities for players as they progress through the grades
We’re proud to currently be the only club north of the bridge with teams in every age group of Auckland Cricket’s Women & Girls competitions. Our goal is to champion the female game by growing participation at all levels—from first-timers to future White Ferns.
We love celebrating our community, so please feel free to share your photos, stories, and successes. And if you ever have questions or concerns, my inbox and phone are always open. Just a heads-up—it might take me a couple of days to reply, but I promise I’ll get back to you.
Thanks for being part of our journey. I’m excited for another fantastic season ahead!
Ngā mihi nui,
Lisa Kent
