Are you dedicated to empowering female athletes and leading a team to success? Takapuna District Cricket Club (TDCC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Coach for our women's cricket team for the 2024/25 season.

Position: Premier Women’s Cricket Head Coach
Location: Takapuna District Cricket Club (TDCC), North Shore, Auckland, New Zealand

About Us: TDCC is committed to excellence in women's cricket. Our mission is to develop talent, promote sportsmanship, and inspire the next generation of female cricketers in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Role Overview: As the Head Coach you will develop training programmes, manage training sessions and oversee the team’s performance in competitive play, whilst helping foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement training programmes.
  • Build and nurture a successful team environment.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire athletes.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive team culture.
  • Collaborate with fellow senior coaches, support staff and club members.
  • Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all team members.

 

Qualifications:

  • Extensive coaching experience with relevant certifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven track record in developing and mentoring female athletes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including travel for competitions.
