TAKAPUNA GIRLS - BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONS
The Takapuna Cricket Club Girls Under 14 Gold Team [pictured above] won the Auckland Future Hearts Under 14 A Grade competition for the second successive season.
This capped off another successful season for the 65 player,7 team Girls Division of the Takapuna based Club.
It is said to be the hub of Girls cricket in North Harbour offering cricket in girls only teams from 7 years of age.
The Takapuna clubs Under 14 Blue team were runners up in the Auckland Future Hearts Development Grade whilst first season Premier Grade player, Takapuna’s Roz McNeill, won the Auckland Cricket Clubs Women Player of the Year
